You can't have chicken tikka masala without naan (bread). When making Indian at home things can get a little complicated so I like to keep things as simple as possible. I use regular pizza dough to make the naan and cook them one by one in a pan on the stove top. I also brush the dough with minced garlic.

- For the gravy:- In a pan heat oil. Add cumin seeds. Add cloves, cinnamon, green cardamom, big cardamom and dry red chili. Saute for a few seconds. Add chopped tomatoes, onions, garlic cloves, cashew nuts and magastali seeds. Add salt and mix it. Cover with lid. Stir in between. Cook till tomatoes soften. Then cool down and grind in a mixer grinder and make a paste.
- In a pan heat butter and oil. When heated add prepared paste and saute till oil separates. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, dhania jeera powder, garam masala powder and kitchen king masala. Mix them.
- Add kasoori methi and malai. Add required water and mix well. Adjust salt. Cover with lid and simmer for about 4-5 minutes on low flame. Then switch off the flame. Add cubed cheese. At the time of serving garnish with some grated cheese. Tempting cheese butter masala is ready.
- For garlic naan:- In a mixing bowl take maida and wheat flour. (You can take only maida or only wheat flour). Add salt, sugar, baking soda and baking powder. Mix well. Add ghee and curd. Mix well. Knead a soft dough with enough water. Coat with some oil, cover with a lid and rest for half an hour.
- Knead dough again for 4-5 minutes. Make equal size balls from it. Take a ball. Roll out oval or round roti from it. Dust some flour while rolling if required. Apply water on it. Spread some chopped coriander leaves and chopped garlic. Roll again gently to press them.
- Apply water from the backside of rolled naan. Put on heated tawa. (Keep plain water side down). Allow this side to cook. Then turn tawa and cook the upper side on the flame.(You can cook directly on flame just like fulka roti). Apply ghee or butter on it. Serve hot with cheese butter masala.
