The ingredients needed to make Savoury rice and mince:
  1. Take 1 chopped onion
  2. Prepare 1 kg Beef mince meat
  3. Take 1 tsp 6 gun spice
  4. Make ready 1 tsp steak and chops spice
  5. Make ready 1 tsp crushed garlic
  6. Make ready to taste Tomato sauce and barbecue sauce
  7. Get 1 cube Beef stock

Add rice noodles and sauce for a Beef Chow Mein. Add some taco seasoning and put in tacos with lettuce, tomato and cheese. Use up all the veg that is on it's way out, any meat will do - I use beef mince normally but chicken, pork, fish (prawns may be good) would all work. This savoury mince is so tasty and versatile.

Instructions to make Savoury rice and mince:
  1. Pour cooking oil in a frying pan once hot add the chopped onion, crushed garlic and the spices together with the beef stock.
  2. Let it fry for about 5 to 7 minutes then add the mince let it fry for another 15 mins then add tomato paste or tomato sauce and the barbecue sauce leave it on the stove for about 10 mins then it will be ready to be served.

Use up all the veg that is on it's way out, any meat will do - I use beef mince normally but chicken, pork, fish (prawns may be good) would all work. This savoury mince is so tasty and versatile. We love it for dinner, ladled over a baked potato and topped with cheese, or on hot buttered toast for breakfast. Vegetarian savoury mince - a proper British dinner!
