  7. Get 5-6 Black pepper

  9. Get 6-7 Cardamom
  10. Make ready 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
  11. Make ready 1 cup Khoyaa
  12. Get Almonds
  13. Prepare Pistachio
  14. Take Dry dates
  15. Get Kishmish
  16. Prepare Dried coconut
  17. Prepare Food colour green, red, yellow
  18. Prepare (a pinch)

Instructions to make Mutanjan

  1. First of all soak rice & boil them with Elaichi (cardamom)cloves 2, - Kewara water 2 Tbsp till full - done.Put them aside.
  2. Make a syrup with sugar & 1/2 - cup of water.Add lemon juice. - Sugar Syrup should b watery - not sticky.
  3. Take a deep pan.Put ghee in it - along with cloves, black pepper, - Cinnamon stick & cardamom.Fry - it.Add sugar syrup in it.
  4. Now add boiled rice in it & mix - it with syrup nicely.Leave - it on simmer for 15 min or
  5. You can notice that water is - absorbed.In the end take three - different food colour a pinch - for each.Mix them separately in - 1Tbsp water for each.then put it - on rice in three sides.Also - sprinkle blanched dry fruits & - Kewara water.Cover with a lid. - Mix all rice along with nuts nicely
  6. Dish out your mutanjan and - garnish it with rest of nuts & also - with khoyaa.
  7. Serve it hot.
