- Make ready 1 cup wheat flour
- Make ready 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Make ready 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Prepare 1/4 tsp ajwain/carom seeds
- Get 1/2 tsp salt
- Get 2 tsp oil
- Get 1/2 cup Water as needed (mostly )

- Get 1 Onion Chopped
- Get 1 Tomato Chopped

- Firstly wash toor dal nicely, boil toor dal add by adding 1tsp oil, little salt. In same cooker place bowl add peanut and keep for 5 whistles.
- Once dal is cooked, then take a pan add 2-3 tsp ghee and once ghee is hot add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, green chilli,and curry leaves. Further add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and saute until tomatoes turn soft and mushy
- Now add in cooked dal, one and half cup of water and mix well adjusting consistency as required. - Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder, kashmiri lal mirchi powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and garam masala. (Add more water as per your desire consistency)
- Now add cooked peanuts, small piece jaggery, salt and lemon juice. And boil it for 4-5 minutes.
- Now mix dhokli ingredients and make soft dough.
- Roll them same as chapati.
- I just roasted them for few seconds to remove raw smell. (This step is completely optional) I was preparing for the first time so just thought of this idea.
- Now cut them and drop it in dal. And boil for 8-10 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped onion, tomatoes and coriander.. Enjoy your hot hot Dal Dhokli!!!
