  1. Make ready DAL FRY:- 300gm masoor dal
  2. Make ready 1 tomato sliced

  6. Get For Tempering:- 4 tablespoons cooking oil
  7. Prepare 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

  10. Prepare GOBHI ALOO SABZI:- 250gm cauliflower (Cut into pieces)
  11. Get 4 medium size potatoes (cut each into 4 pieces)

  13. Get 1 medium size sliced onion
  14. Get Salt as per taste
  15. Prepare 1 big pinch of asafoetida
  16. Prepare 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  17. Prepare 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  18. Prepare 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  19. Make ready 1 teaspoon spicy red chilli powder
  20. Prepare 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  21. Take 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  22. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  23. Get 2 tablespoons fresh chopped coriander leaves
  24. Get 4 tablespoons cooking oil
  25. Prepare tawa bhindi fry:-
  26. Get 250 gm ladyfinger (Cut into long)
  27. Prepare Salt as per taste
  28. Get 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
  29. Get 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  30. Take 1 teaspoon mango powder
  31. Get 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  32. Prepare GALKA:- 1kg galka peeled and sliced
  33. Get 1 medium size sliced onion (optional)
  34. Prepare Salt as per taste
  35. Take 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  36. Get 5 nos green chillies chopped
  37. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  38. Take 1/4 cup cooking oil
  39. Get Fruit Custard:- 1/2litre milk
  40. Get 1 &1/2 tablespoon vanilla flavour custard powder
  41. Take 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  42. Prepare 4 bananas sliced
  43. Get 1 rougly chopped apple
  44. Get 1/2 cup pomegranate
  45. Prepare Peru Kachalu:- 4 sliced guava (peru)
  46. Get 1/3 cup sugar
  47. Make ready 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  48. Make ready 1 big pinch black salt
  49. Make ready Zeera Rice:- 500gm basmati rice
  50. Take Salt as per taste
  51. Make ready 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  52. Take 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  53. Get Water required
  54. Make ready Buttermilk:- 2&1/2cups curd
  55. Get 2 cups water
  56. Prepare 1/3 teaspoon salt
  57. Prepare 1 pinch roasted cumin powder (optional)

Dal Makhani is the main highlight of the Punjabi Thali. It is a rich dish cooked with Urad dal and Rajma, simmered for quite a long time to get that soft makhamali texture and garnished with cream. So I started this Mega Thali BM with a Simple every day North Indian Vegetarian Lunch Thali, the thali which I have grown up eating, and ending it with this Vegetarian Maharashtrian Thali. Maharashtrian cuisine which I have learned being born and brought up in Mumbai and now married to a Maharashtrian.

Instructions to make Veg Thali:
  1. Method for Dal Fry:- Add masoor dal, salt, tomato, turmeric powder and required water in pressure cooker. Pressure cook it on 3 whistles. Switch off flame and wait till air release and tempered it
  2. Method For Gobhi Aloo Sabzi:- Heat oil in deep wok, splutter cumin seeds and asafoetida. - Add onion and let them cook till it turn into pink. Make fine paste of ginger, garlic, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder by adding little water.
  3. Add tomato in wok and cook it on  high flame till tomatoes become dry. Add paste and cook till oil starts floating on all over masala(bhuno). - Add potatoes in it, cover the lid and cooked for 5minutes on low flame. - Add cauliflower and cook till it done. - Garnish with coriander leaves.
  4. Method For Tawa Bhindi Fry:- Heat oil on tawa, add ladyfingers and cook till it become soft. - Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and aamchur powder mix it gently. - Cook till it become crisp.
  5. Method For Galka:- Heat oil in deep wok, splutter cumin seeds and green chilies. Add onion and cooked till the little colour change. Add Galka and mix it well. Cook till it get soft. Add salt and turmeric powder in it and mix well, cook it on high flame till the  Galka dry/done. In between keep sauteing.
  6. Method For Fruit Custard:- Take 1/2 cup of milk and add custard powder in it and mix till it dissolve. - Boil milk with sugar in saucepan and stir, Add custard paste in boiling milk, keep stirring. switch off the flame and let them cool down on room temperature. - when it cool down add fruits in it.
  7. Method For Peru Kachalu:- Add sugar, black pepper powder and black salt  in sliced guava, mix and mash mash and mix, refrigerate for an hour before serving.
  8. Method For Zeera Rice:- Wash basmati rice. - Heat oil and splutter cumin seeds, add water and salt mix it. Add basmati rice and cook till done.
  9. Method for Green SaladTake fresh cucumbers, tomatoes and sliced it.
  10. Method for Buttermilk:-Make smooth buttermilk by adding salt and roasted cumin seeds.
  11. Make wheat flour chapati and fry papad in heated oil.
  12. Delicious veg thali is ready to eat.
