- Wash the rice before par-boiling the rice and sieve, then set aside
- Fry your onions and add the tomatoes and pepper purees.Also add your salt and spices, leave to fry for 10mins
- Add the chicken stock(gotten from chicken - more information below) and some water. Leave for 5mins
- Add the par-boiled rice and stir to make the ingredients even in the pot. Leave to boil in low heat
- Chicken stock- add some water, salt and spices and onions to the chicken laps.
- For the grilling of the chicken laps- blend onions, garlic, spices and 2 spoonful of milk and rub around the chicken laps, then grill till desired brown colour
- Few minutes before the water in the jollof dries out add the chopped vegetables (leave out the cucumber for dressing) and leave for few minutes. Mix the jollof and serve while hot😋
