- Wash and soak the rice. Also soak the sweet corn (I am using frozen ones) Meanwhile in a pan heat some oil and add jeera(1tsp), long (2-3), elachi (big + small) tej patta (2-3) saute them for about 1 min and then add finely chopped onion and saute till the onions are golden brown. Now add finely chopped tomato to it (optional) and saute it for abt 1 min.
- To it now add the sweet corn and soaked rice,again saute it.
- Now add three katori water to it (double the qty of rice) and steam it on a low flame for about 15 mins. Check after 15 mins, but let the steam cool down and serve it hot. You can garnish it with coriander leaves.
