  3. Prepare 1 Tsp. white sugar
  4. Take 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  5. Make ready 1/4 C water
  6. Prepare 1 sprinkle of ground black pepper
  7. Prepare 1/2 Tsp. Sesame oil
  8. Take 2 Tbsp. Cooking oil

  1. Steam Bok choy for 5-6 mins.
  2. Combine the oyster sauce, sugar and water in a bowl. Stir. Set aside.
  3. Combine oil and garlic at the same time in a pan. Turn the heat to on. Cook the garlic in medium heat until it starts to turn light brown.
  4. Pour the oyster sauce mixture in the pan and sprinkle some ground black pepper. Let boil. Let liquid reduced a little.
  5. Pour over to steamed bok choy, drizzle with sesame oil.

Bok Choy is one of my favorite vegetables. It has its own spiciness that is complimented by the sweetness of the sauce in this recipe. I like to serve this with grilled shrimp and steamed rice.
