- Now take a deep bottomed kadai. Add water, keep steel stand inside the kadai. Now keep the steel plan on top of the stand. Ensure water level is below the plate. Now cover the kadai with lid, on medium flame keep for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes turn the banana leaf pockets upside down. Again cover the kadai and keep on medium flame for another 5 minutes.
