- Dry roast murmura in a pan until it starts to change the colour.[ don't over roast, switch off the heat immediately when the colour starts to change ] Keep it aside.
- Dry roast sesame seeds and keep it aside.
- In a pan add powdered jaggery and water. Cook it by stirring continuously.
- When it starts to thicken add cardamom powder and mix well.
- When the jaggery became thick add the puffed rice [ murmura ] and sesame seeds and coat it well.
- Line a plate with parchment paper(or you can directly spread it on a lightly greased plate) and spread the prepared jaggery coated murmura on it. Press it down evenly with a spatula.
- Let it cool. Cut it with a sharp knife and enjoy
