Instructions to make Basbousa(Semovita cake):
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl
- Grease the pan with butter and pour in the batter
- Bake till golden brown
- Cut in to square Shape, sprinkle some grated coconut at the top, not a fan of sugar so I ate mine like that and really enjoy it
- Sugar fans for the syrup: Add water on a pot pour the sugar, let it boil and squeeze the lemon juice and cook for 3 minutes.
- Pour in the sugar syrup on it and enjoyyy
