Aloo Paratha (lit. "potato paratha") is a bread dish originating from the Indian subcontinent. It is a breakfast dish originated from the Punjab region. I tried Aloo paratha only recently, all these days I felt it was hard enough to make. And with stuffing inside I thought I would surely mess it up….

Steps to make Aaloo Paratha platter:
  1. Take a big bowl Knead a soft dough and keep aside.
  2. Take another bowl add mashed potatoes along with all spices and herbs (coriander leaves, green chillies, chopped onion).
  3. Make a small balls from the Dough roll it properly like Puri size.
  4. Keep the filling ball in between the dough circle and bring the ends together and seal them.
  5. Press the circle slightly and dust and roll gently to make a circle.
  6. Roll the paratha from the sides to make sure the filling reaches to the sides and is distributed evenly. Heat a griddle.
  7. Once the griddle is hot, transfer the paratha on the hot griddle and cook until brown spots appear on the base of the paratha.
  8. Flip the paratha and apply ghee on it. - Flip again and apply ghee on other side as well.
  9. Press the paratha using a ladle and fry until it is nice browned from both sides.
  10. Serve with hot butter, green chutney, pickle, and curd. Taste is yummy 😋.

I tried Aloo paratha only recently, all these days I felt it was hard enough to make. And with stuffing inside I thought I would surely mess it up….
