  4. For it's tempering, in a tempering pan, add a tablespoon of oil, cumin seeds, 2 dry red chillies and dry fenugreek leaves and allow it to crackle and pour it into mashed potato and mix it well.
  5. Your khichdi platter is ready to serve.
  6. Serve it with curd, pickles, fritters and mashed potato mix.
