Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, cook and stir until lightly browned. This onion sauce recipe, known as Sauce Soubise in France, is made using the same technique as a bechamel sauce. You could serve it on a simple grilled meat such as lamb or pork.

- Take Scotch bonnet
- Take G/nut oil
- Prepare Maggie

In a medium skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add the cinnamon, chili powder, garlic powder,hot pepper sauce& salt. In a saucepan, saute onion in butter. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until blended.
Steps to make Onion sauce:
- Grate the scotch bonnet and slice d onions round shaped
- Put in little g/nut oil in a pot and pour in the grated ingredients then add in Maggie,curry n salt den stir fry for 20 secs
In a saucepan, saute onion in butter. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until blended. When the onions are cooked add them to this white sauce. Add the Dijon mustard, black pepper and salt (to taste), turn down heat and continually stirring, cook until sauce thickens. Remove saucepan from heat and grate the remaining onion into the sauce, this will give it a stronger flavour.
