The ingredients needed to make Onion pakode:
  1. Prepare 3 onion sliced
  2. Get 1 cup gram flour
  3. Take to taste salt
  4. Prepare 1/2 tsp black pepper Powder
  5. Get 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  6. Take as needed oil for frying

  3. Now deep fry pakoda's into the hot oil till golden brown and crispy..
  4. Serve hot with tomato sauce.

I have added some rice flour which helps to make it crispy. In Mumbai, it is known as Kanda Bhaji. Adding hot oil or ghee to the prepared flours helps in more crispness. Onion pakoda are deep fried onion fritters with Indian spices. Onion pakoda recipe is made with chickpea flour, rice flour, salt, carom seeds, chili powder.
