- For each 2 cups of Milk Powder, Use a half cup of Sugar and Enough Coconut as desired
- Wash Cocunut and Grate to tiny slices.
- Briefly fry coconut in a pan to remove moisture (Don't fry with oil, just coconut slices)
- Put Sugar in a separate cup or bowl and add little warm water (Be very careful not to put too much water) to dissolve the sugar, stir and keep aside.
- Pour Milk Powder in a separate bowl, Pour Coconut slices and dissolved sugar
- Mix the mixture with a spatula until a hard dough is formed (if dough is too soft it means the water is too much so you'll need to add more milk powder to harden it)
- Cut Mixture to small round balls.
- Deep Fry in oil at a very low heat until light brown
I added some jaggery and condensed milk in this. Warm coconut milk over low heat with grated palm sugar and salt. You can also use some nuts to add a crunch. Strain with a spider or mesh strainer. Shredded coconut, coconut milk, cardamom Add coconut milk or coconut cream and cook for a minute.
