The ingredients needed to make Smoked Butter Paneer:
  1. Make ready 200 grams paneer cuts
  2. Prepare 1 small onion
  3. Take 1 tomato of medium size
  4. Make ready 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  5. Get 1 green chilli
  6. Get 1 tsp turmeric powder
  7. Get 1/2 tsp cumin-coriander powder
  8. Get as required Ghee/Butter
  9. Take as required 1 elaichi, 2 cloves, 1 cinammon stick, 1 dried red chilli
  10. Make ready as required Oil
  11. Prepare 2 tbsp fresh cream
  12. Prepare 1 tsp sugar

Steps to make Smoked Butter Paneer:
  1. Take a non-stick pan, add 2 tbsp of ghee/butter with 1 tsp oil in it. Heat it then add all "khada garam masalas" let them splutter then add chopped onion & tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, green chilli, cumin-coriander powder, salt, sugar mix them and fry it well till the oil starts separating from the pan.
  2. Let it cool them, remove all "khada garam masalas" & blend it in a blending jar or mixer.
  3. Now take another kadai and 2 tsp ghee/butter to it and add all the blended masalas. Fry it for a min then, add cream & paneer. Mix them well and let it cook for about 5 mins more. Off the flame.
  4. Take a piece of charcoal, burn it for about 2 mins in a low flame as shown in the pic. Take the charcoal in a small vati, place the vati in the centre of the pan & add a tsp of ghee to it, give it a blow, then cover it immediately with a tight lid. Leave it as it is for about 10 to 12 mins. Then serve hot with a tinch of fresh cream. You can serve hot with rice or naan..
