- In a pan/cooking pot, drizzle 4 tbs of oil, add the ginger and garlic paste and sauté for few seconds
- Then add your parboiled rice and all your seasonings and saute again
- Add all your veggies to the rice and give it a mix then add your water/chicken/vegetable broth and allow it to cook for like 5 minutes in a medium flame
- Now slice your carrots and cucumber to any of your desired shape for garnishing
Brown rice - preferably use Jasmine brown rice for making this Asian fried brown rice. Sometimes I also use long grain brown rice if I don't have Jasmine rice handy. Leftover brown rice is reborn in this chicken fried rice with peppers and onions. Black pepper, paprika, or dried parsley may be used to season after this is cooked.
