  2. in your measuring cup of water… add in the sugar and salt and stir til dissolved. put it in the fridge to get cold. meanwhile. .. in a stand up mixer with the paddle attachment, combine the flour and cold butter and mix on low until there are pea-sized pieces. add it cold water 1 Tbsp at a time until a soft dough forms and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
