- When mustard seeds starts crackle add hing, bay leaf, cinnamon,one red chilli, red chilli powder, methi masala, daal masala and turmeric powder

- Take one bowl soak rice in it for 15 to 20 minutes now wash the rice with hands 4 to 5 times. Take one big vessel add water in it keep it on high flame
- When water starts boiling add oil, salt and lemon juice in it.
- Now add washed rice. Leave it on medium flame till cooked. Pour it in seive. So, extra water drain from it. Dal rice is ready to serve
