The ingredients needed to make Satvik Thali:
  1. Take Radhabhallavi puri
  2. Prepare 1 cup All purpose flour
  3. Make ready 1/2 cup Split urad dal
  4. Make ready 1/4 cup Split moong dal
  5. Make ready 2 tbsp Gram flour
  6. Prepare 1/4 tsp Ginger paste
  7. Prepare 1/4 tsp Fennel seeds
  8. Get 1/4 tsp Green chilli
  9. Prepare 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  10. Get to taste Salt
  11. Take 1 tsp Sugar
  12. Take 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  13. Take Oil - for frying

  1. Take a large bowl add all purpose flour,salt,sugar,2 tbsp oil and mix well.
  2. Make a soft dough with the help of water.
  3. Soak split urad dal and split moong dal for 3 - 4 hours.
  4. Drain and make a paste.
  5. Heat oil in a pan.
  6. Add asafoetida and gram flour and roast it.
  7. Add split urad dal paste,ginger paste,fennel seeds,red chilli powder,green chilli and salt and stir fry for 4 - 5 mins.
  8. Now stuffing is ready.
  9. Heat enough oil in a pan for deep frying.
  10. First on high flame then make it medium or low.
  11. Now divide the dough into equal size balls.
  12. Now flatten the balls with your palm.
  13. Place a small ball of stuffing in the center and seal it properly.
  14. Now roll the balls.
  15. It should be thick.
  16. Place the puri into the hot oil for frying
  17. Fry in small batches.
  18. Deep fry in medium hot oil until golden and crispy.
  19. Drain and serve.
