- Take 1 tbsp plain yoghurt (beaten)
- Take 1/4 cup mustard oil
- Make ready 1 tsp turmeric powder

- Soak the mustard seeds in water for 15 minutes
- Marinade the prawn with 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1tbsp mustard oil pinch of salt for 10 minutes
- Drain the mustard seeds of water and add them to a grinder jar. add 3 green chillies along with pinch of salt,1/2 tsp turmeric powder and water.grind it to a smooth paste.
- Take a air tight container add the mustard seeds paste, beaten yoghurt, grated coconut, 4 tbsp mustard oil slitted green chillies, mix all ingredients well with marinated prawn and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
- Then add 1/2 cup of water.mix it well. close the lid of the container.
- Heat a vessel and place a stand at the bottom. pour hot water, making sure it doesn't reach up to more half the hight of container.once water has come to boil, place the container on the stand.cover the vessel and steam on medium flame for another 8-10 min.
- After 10 min turn off the flame. Remove from the vessel and allow it to rest for another 5 minutes.
- Steamed Prawn with mustard sauce is ready to serve with hot steamed Rice.
