  6. Cook the idli plates in the steamer and steam for 15 minutes on low flame.
  7. Check the doneness by inserting a fork in the idli. If it comes out clean, the idlis are done. If the batter sticks to the fork, steam for 5 more minutes.
  8. Soak steamed idli into the warm salty water with hing for 3-4 minutes. Take out the idli from the water and squeeze lightly between palm and place it in a serving tray.
  9. Add curd, date tamarind chutney, green coriander chutney and chilli garlic chutney over it.
  10. Sprinkle salt, black salt red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder on it.
  11. Finally add Pomegranate and enjoy steamed dahi bhalla.
