Steps to make Basbousa Semovita/Semolina Cake:
- Mix all the listed cake ingredients in a bowl.
- Grease yor baking pan with butter and pour in the batter and bake until golden brown.
- Cut in to squares while its still inside the pan.
- Pour in the sugar syrup on to it and allow to cool down a bit.

- For the sugar syrup:Add water to a pan/pot,pour the sugar and let it boil,squeeze out lemon juice and cook for 5 mints.
