This is the dish which i made for the get together and everyone loved it. This is a basic mutton gravy/curry which is simple to make. Vary the chili according to taste for a mild to medium to very hot curry, or use a combination of chili powder and green chilies for more flavor. You should definitely try this mutton at home and serve it along with whole wheat lachha paratha and salad by the side.
Instructions to make Mutton gravy:
- Take a pressure cooker add 1 kg mutton
- Now add roughly chopped 4 onions 3 tomatoes 7 pieces garlic
- Now add 1 tbsp red chilli powder 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper half tsp garam masala half tsp turmeric
- Add 2 cups of water and lid cover note 20 minutes pressure
- After 20 minutes add ginger paste 2 tbsp
- And mix it well cook at least 2 to 3 minutes
- Take a pan add 1/3 cup oil now add 2 green cardamom 1 tsp zeera
- Fry 1 to 2 minutes and add this oil in to mutton masala
- Mix it well and cook for 2 minutes
- Now add 5 tbsp yoghurt and mix it well cook only 3 minutes after this you will dish out
- Now mutton gravy is ready garnish with ginger and green chilli
- Final look of mutton gravy
