  5. Take 1 large tomato roughly chhoped
  6. Take 1 piece ginger
  7. Get 3-4 garlic cloves

Soya Chunks(Soya Nuggets or Mealmaker) is an excellent source of protein and has a lot of health benefits too. Just had some bellpeppers and soya chunks handy and needed to make a quick subzi. So just added some onions and tomatoes to it with simple spices. Add salt and cover the pan with a lid and let it cook over aslow flame.

Instructions to make Bell pepper and Soya chunks with Gravy:
  1. Take pan and turn on the flame. Now add 2-3 tbsp cooking oil, cumin seeds, garlic,ginger,green chilli, cashews, onion, tomato,salt,red chilli powder, turmeric, dhaniya powder,garam masala together. Mix well and saute till tomato become mushy. Let it cool down.
  2. On other side boil soya chunks by adding some salt for 5-7 minutes. Once they boil drain off the water. Now wash with normal water and strain.
  3. Now put the mixture into mixer jar and make the fine paste.
  4. Now put 1 tbsp oil in pan and add diced bell pepper and onion for little saute.Take it out in a bowl.
  5. Then add paste in a pan with some water to make smooth consistency. In the gravy also add soya chunks, bell pepper and onion together. Mix well.
  6. Now cover it with lid on simmer flame for 5 minutes.
  7. Bell pepper and soya chunks with Gravy is ready. Enjoy!
