Steps to make Smoked Butter Paneer:
- Take a non-stick pan, add 2 tbsp of ghee/butter with 1 tsp oil in it. Heat it then add all "khada garam masalas" let them splutter then add chopped onion & tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, green chilli, cumin-coriander powder, salt, sugar mix them and fry it well till the oil starts separating from the pan.
- Let it cool them, remove all "khada garam masalas" & blend it in a blending jar or mixer.
- Now take another kadai and 2 tsp ghee/butter to it and add all the blended masalas. Fry it for a min then, add cream & paneer. Mix them well and let it cook for about 5 mins more. Off the flame.
- Take a piece of charcoal, burn it for about 2 mins in a low flame as shown in the pic. Take the charcoal in a small vati, place the vati in the centre of the pan & add a tsp of ghee to it, give it a blow, then cover it immediately with a tight lid. Leave it as it is for about 10 to 12 mins. Then serve hot with a tinch of fresh cream. You can serve hot with rice or naan..
