  6. Or pop it in a pan and heat it for 2 minutes.
  7. Once the sugar is cooled down or dried. Break all lumps with your fingers or place it into a strainer and shake it until we get all of sugar out of strainer.
  8. The coloured sugar in the bag are my purchased colour sugar and you can see there is no difference between my home made coloured sugar with those.

I haven't bought colored sugar crystals for decorating baked goods in a long time. These are great to set your marshmallow pops in. You can get the kids engaged and it's a lot of fun.
